Specialty automated coffee machines for baristas and cafes
The Poursteady is an automated, cloud connected, pour-over coffee machine made to precisely and reliably do the tedious, repetitive work of making a cup of pour-over coffee. This allows a barista to focus on experimentation until they dial in an amazing cup of coffee just like they would by hand, and then make that cup over and over.
As Director of Software I planned, architect-ed, and built our technical stack, from the machine and its companion app to our cloud backend supporting a remote machine management experience, from our internal build and diagnostic tools to the tools clients use to make sure they are getting the best from their Poursteady.

Designed and iterated user experiences for baristas, small cafes, large chains, etc.
With the team prototyped other machines that never made it to market, including a highly customizable cold brew machine.
At the time of writing we have sold over 450 machines to cafes and restaurants all over the world.
